During the Wings Vioso RX installation more than 40 drivers are copied into folder C:\ProgramData\AV Stumpfl\Drivers. This folder accommodates the following types of drivers:
*.asd ...are Avio drivers that can be used for the Avio System and allow serial control of devices, e.g. using the Avio Service. See Sending/receiving commands via the computer's LAN interface. Or, alternatively, using the Wings IObox Serial. See Using Wings IOboxes for control purposes.
*.amd.xml ...are MIDI drivers, e.g. for MIDI controller. These drivers are also used with the Avio Service. See Integration of MIDI devices. Note: Do not edit these drivers yourself.
*.ptd. ... are drivers for the older driver model of Wings Platinum. See Using drivers for serial control. These older drivers, however, can also be used with the Avio system.
As *.asd and *.ptd drivers have been created by different authors and are freely editable we cannot assume any responsibility for their correct function. See Using drivers for serial control.
If there is no driver available for your device you can also create one in a text editing program. More about this in topic Creating your own drivers.
