Wings Vioso RX can output timecode for synchronization of other systems or be run as slave in accordance with some timecode applied. Please mind the following:
Output of SMPTE timecode via a sound card output, i.e. Wings Vioso RX is the master unit. See Master mode with SMPTE timecode.
Reading SMPTE timecode via an SC Master 2M, 4M or Lite, i.e. Wings Vioso RX is run in Slave Mode. See Slave mode with SMPTE timecode synchronization.
Reading SMPTE timecode via the audio output of the ASIO driver soundcard. In this case, Wings Vioso RX is run as timecode slave. Attention: This variant cannot be recommended as it might cause problems. See Configuration of Audio Input
MTC (MIDI timecode) can directly be applied to the computer via a MIDI port or an external MIDI interface. In this case, Wings Vioso RX is run as timecode slave. See Slave mode with MIDI timecode synchronization. Note: Syncing with MTC works better and more reliably than other variants and is definitely the recommended option!
Net Timecode from LaserAnimation SOLLINGEN GmbH systems can be applied directly via a network interface at the computer. It is therefore possible to run Wings Vioso both in master and in slave mode. See Reading Net Timecode.
