Wings Avio is a network-based Show Control system allowing various components, such as Wings Vioso RX, Wings Touch and various Avio modules as well as Avio Service to communicate with each other as equal network nodes. Wings Avio primarily consists of the following components:
Wings Avio Manager ...visualizes the network nodes and their resources. It also allows functional connections between the components. See also Wings Avio Manager.
Wings Avio Service ...provides the basic functions of the computer the Avio system runs on, such as mouse, audio volume, switching off the computer, Wake on LAN, Alive, etc. See also Wings Avio Service.
Wings Touch ...is a user interface tool for creation of interactive touch interfaces for easy and convenient operation of all components available on the Avio network. The interface elements, e.g. buttons, sliders, indicators, etc. are available in the form of connectable Avio resources. See Wings Touch.
Wings Vioso RX ...supplies basic functions to the Avio system, such as Play, Pause, Stop, etc., as well as the Wings Vioso RX status but also programmable functions in the form of triggers or variables. See also Trigger functions and Control via variables.
Wings IOboxes ...are small hardware modules communicating independently on the network and that may perform certain functions due to the fact that they contain a server and a client. The following modules are available:
Wings IObox Relay ...offers 16 floating relays.
Wings IObox DMX ...offers a DMX512 input and output.
Wings IObox Remote ...offers 16 switch inputs.
Wings IObox Serial ...offers four serial interfaces.
Further information can be found in topic Control via Wings IOboxes.
Avio Master ...fanless small-scale server offering the following functions: playback of multi-channel sound (synchronization with Wings Engine as an option), hosting of interactive touch interfaces, building interface via KNX, various interfaces for DMX, MIDI, Art-Net, SMPTE, RS232 and IR; Avio Scripts as well as integration of Social Media.
FHD Player ...syncable Flashcard Player allowing Master/Client mode which makes it suitable for playback on split screens. It is listed as a node in the Avio network which makes it controllable.
FHD Player Pro ...as above but with the additional option of hosting interactive touch interfacing, controlling other devices with serial drivers and using building interface via KNX and Avio scripts.
All components are run on the usual network system, i.e. the connections can be established via CAT5 cable, WLAN or Internet. In addition to this, Avio Service, Wings Vioso RX and the IOboxes allow installation of scripts for mathematical and logic functions. See also Avio Scripts.
