Please note that depending on the type of motherboard power needs to be off for a certain period of time (> 1 minute) before automatic startup is possible after power on.Permanent installations often require automatic computer startup and start of the presentation thereafter. This requires the following steps:
The computer needs to start up automatically after power on. See Bios Settings.
Startup of the computer without login dialog. See also Avoiding the login dialog when starting up the computer.
Wings Vioso needs to start automatically upon booting which can be achieved by creating a shortcut to the program in the Windows folder Autostart.
The project must be loaded by Wings Vioso and the presentation be started. In the Start Options you can select the project to be opened and the timeline to be presented. See Global Options - Program start.
The settings for automatic booting differ depending on the power supply and the manufacturer of the motherboards and the Bios used. That’s why we would like to illustrate the process by giving a few examples:
Asus P5G41-M and AMI-Bios ...the settings are done on page Power. For Restore on AC Power Loss choose Power On.
Asus P9X79 WS and UEFI Bios ...the setting is done in Advanced Mode on page Advanced - APM. At Restore AC Power Loss select Power On.
Gigabyte GA-Z77-D3H and UEFI Dual Bios ...the setting is done on page Power Management. For AC BACK select Always ON.
