In addition to suitable hardware, the software configuration is of paramount importance. Usually, other programs are also installed on a PC which may perform useless and disturbing tasks in the background. They use up capacity urgently required for playback of HDAV presentations and may cause the presentation to come to a halt.
The most consistent solution for optimum presentation computer is a "slim" installation, optimized exclusively for Wings Vioso RX and playback of HDAV presentations, i.e. without Microsoft Office programs, anti-virus program, Internet connection, etc. If you do not want a separate computer for presentations you can still install a separate operating system with Wings Vioso RX on an additional hard disk (or on a removable hard disk). For presentations, the computer is in this case started up from this hard disk while being able to use the same hardware.
Wings Vioso RX is suitable for Windows Vista and Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10. For Wings Vioso RX the minimum versions, e.g. Windows 7 Home Basic will do. Basically, the 64-bit versions are recommended since only they allow usage of more than 3 GB RAM and are appropriate for Wings Vioso multidisplay systems with 4 to 8 GB RAM. For multidisplay system you should definitely use Windows 7 since other operating systems cannot guarantee proper snychronization of the output to several displays.
