You can save resources and improve performance by exporting text objects as images. This may be particularly useful for multidisplay shows. Optionally, you can have the text objects replaced by picture objects with the text images.
And this is how it is done:
Right-click a text object and select Special functions Export picture. If you want to export several text objects as images but not all of them you need to highlight and select the corresponding objects first. See also Marking objects.
In the next dialog box displayed select the text objects to be saved as images:
All objects ...exports images of all text objects in the specified timelines.
Selected objects only ...exports images of all highlighted text objects in the specified timelines.
The clicked object only ......exports only the image of the clicked text object.
In the entry field below enter the timelines from which the text objects are to be exported as images.
For Picture settings select the required file format. We recommend the preset TIF format. Please note that JPEG format can be compressed strongly (1 = lowest, 100 = highest degree of compression) but does not support any transparency. In order to use images instead of text objects in a show set the color depth to32 bits otherwise they do not contain any transparency.
For image size use the output size of the corresponding object. In exceptional case you may, however, enter different sizes.
Specify the target directory for the images to be exported by clicking on and enter folder and file name in the file dialog. When exporting several images consecutive 4-digit numbers are added to the name.
If the images are to replace the text objects in the project check box Replace original objects by exported pictures. Tip: If you want to keep the editable text objects move all text objects onto one picture track and duplicate the track before exporting.
Click OK and all the specified text objects are exported as images.
