What is a unique ID?

A unique identifier (UID) consists of a nine-digit number and is used for unambiguous identification of network nodes in the Avio System. A unique ID is created automatically for all visible nodes in Avio Manager, such as Wings Touch interfaces, Wings Vioso RX, Avio Service or IOboxes. If an UID is used twice within an Avio network there is a conflict that has to be remedied. In such a case the corresponding node in the Avio Manager is marked in red and you will have to terminate one node or use a different UID for it. See Changing the unique ID.
