It is possible to display external calendars in Avio Calendar, whose events are located on an Exchange server or in Google iCal. Since Avio Calendar can also be integrated on interfaces creating by using Wings Touch it is possible to implement digital doorplates, for example.
Click on the Avio Service icon and select Show Avio Calendar (enabled) following which the empty calendar view of the current week is displayed. If the Calendar is not enabled...
In the top right-hand corner of the Calendar click MANAGE CALENDARS and an empty list field appears.
Now click on button to add a data field and the configuration dialog will be displayed.
For Connection Settings and Calendar Type select the data source, which requires the following entries:
On the right under Detail Settings the following options are available:
Calendar Color ...here you can enter the color in which the entries of this calendar source are to be displayed.
Automatic Refresh ...ensures automatic updates of the Avio Calendar entries at the preset time interval.
Refresh Interval ...defines the interval of calendar updates.
Days in Future ...here you define the number of days in the future that are to be displayed. The preset value is 10 days, with a setting of 0 the current day is displayed. Note: Please bear in mind that larger calendar ranges with a high number of events cause a considerable amount of data which increase the loading time considerably.
Days in Past ...as above but for days in the past. The preset value is one day.
Contains Holidays ...when this box is checked the events in the calendar source are marked as holidays. This way all the holidays in a particular country can be integrated via an iCal file. For series events these holidays can optionally be used in order to choose not to create Wakeup Events or Jukebox Entries on holidays, for example.
Is Editable ...when this box is checked the calendar events in Avio Calendar can be edited ...currently not yet supported!
Finish by clicking . If necessary, add further Calendar sources likewise. All the events of the added Calendar source are displayed in Avio Calendar.
Please bear in mind that it may take a while, depending on the data quantity, before the events are displayed in Avio Calendar.
