This function requires at least a Pro License (supports only one active Live Player) or a Wings Vioso license. See also Licenses and functions.
The live players allow instantaneous playback of videos during a show. The sound is added to the existing sound track.
This is how you use the Live Player:
In the function bar below the main menu click 
Live players, following which a live player is opened for every video and sound track.
As a preparatory step, you can already drag an audio file and drop it into the Live player field. However, this can also be done during playback. The audio file does not necessarily need to be located in the Media Pool; you can also drag it from the Windows Explorer and drop it into the live player.
During playback the audio can be controlled via the Live player buttons 
Play, 
Pause and 
Stop.
In order to configure the options for playback, highlight the track head and click on tab 
Player in the Properties Table. The following configurations are possible:
Properties
Default Mode ...
Autoplay ...causes automatic playback immediately after the audio file was dragged and dropped into the Live Player field. Check this box.
WDM audio output ...is used for defining the sound card output for audio playback. To make an entry, click the field on the right, followed by clicking the button 
that has appeared.
Audio level ...is used for volume control. Just click in the right field and a small slider will appear.
Times
Fade in time for play ...defines the fade in time after clicking Play.
Fade out time for pause ...defines the fade out time after clicking Pause.
Fade out time for stop ...defines the fade out time after clicking Stop.
Live Player 
Avio ...check this box to make Live Player available in Avio Manager at port Live Player - Timeline XX with channels for various functions. These can also be linked up with other Avio channels. See also Connecting and editing channels.
Port name in Avio ...here you can enter a name to precede the channels in Avio Manager.
Please note that live players only work during playback or presentations.
You can sort the files for playback by means of a playlist and specify a playback mode there. See Using playlists.
The Live Player can be controlled by Avio and the status be displayed on the touch interface. Details on how to enable this function can be found here.
The Live Player playback functions can also be controlled by means of triggers. See Trigger actions.
The audio is added to the other sound track. If you want to hide certain sound tracks during Live Player playback you can do so via mix variables and trigger lists. See Presenting with track control via variables and Executing several triggers according to a list.
