Save a project under

Save As in the main menu.
When using this function to save the project, the arrangement of your show is saved to the data carrier as a file (*.w6), i.e. the order of pictures, samples, videos and so on. Only the links to the media files are saved which means that the project file only requires little storage capacity. For a complete backup of all project copies, use function Project backup on CD/DVD.... See Project backup.

First-time saving after loading an older project in a newer Wings Vioso RX version causes the Save As dialog to appear. It allows you to enter a new name in order to prevent the existing project from being overwritten. Once projects are saved in a new version, they can no longer be opened in the old Wings Vioso RX version.
You can add comments
to your project which are displayed before opening it. Just
click on tab 
Comment
next to Audio Level and enter a short description.
When a project is saved, the previous version is saved as backup file. This way a project that was accidentally overwritten is maintained until the project is saved the next time. See Opening a project.
