Every track has a slider for controlling transparency (picture tracks) and video tracks or volume (audio tracks).
Right-click the yellow bar and move the mouse up and down while holding the mouse key until the required setting has been made. This works even during playback.
In addition to this, Wings Vioso features optional sliders for position, zoom, rotation and rotational center, which can be used for influencing the contents of the corresponding track. The sliders are suitable for live control of the parameters during the presentation and have an override function.
By default picture and video tracks have a slider next to the track head which allows control of transparency or volume. These sliders have no override function but are additional control circuits for the entire content of a track.
In order to be able to control parameters in realtime, highlight a track and, in the Properties Table, click on tab Realtime. Below Properties check the box next to Active. Under Sliders enable the parameters that you want to control.
In order to show the selected slider click Realtime control, following which the activated sliders are displayed next to the yellow sliders for transparency or volume. The width of the control range can be adjusted by holding key Ctrl down while dragging the right edge of the control range with the mouse.
If you change a slider from al (Alpha Live) to yC (Y axis of the rotational center) with the mouse, the priority symbol appears as a sign of an active priority function. The parameter is no longer controlled by the object but by the slider. By clicking the override button the priority function is disabled and the parameter is controlled by the object again. When pressing the Shift key while clicking button you can disable or enable priority mode for all sliders.
For soft and jerk-free slider control a smoothing factor has been introduced. Under Slider you can enter a Smoothing value between 0 (no smoothing) and 99 (maximum smoothing). The default smoothing factor is 10 for soft smoothing.
When you check box Sliders Avio under Avio the slider control parameters are transferred to the Avio system and can be linked up with hardware controllers in Avio Manager. Next to Port name in Avio you can enter the name to appear for the slider in Avio Manager. See also Wings Avio.
