After adding control elements or objects to the user interface in Wings Touch you can link them up with certain functions.
Internal commands, such as jumping to a page or closing the user interface can be directly assigned. Right-click the button and select Page Jump To ... and the corresponding page or EXIT to close the user interface. Selecting Previous Page moves you back to the previously displayed page. In the following dialog Page Transition select the corresponding page transition. Buttons with internal functions are labeled with a lightening symbol.
Functions for external resources are linked up via Avio Manager. For easy identification of the objects in Avio-Manager make sure they receive meaningful names. Right-click the object and select Edit Control Name and enter the required name. When the control names are to be displayed in the interface editor check option Control Names on tab View.
Start a test run of your project by selecting tab Home and clicking Start Project after which the project is displayed on a functional user interface. Alternatively, you can also hit the F5 key.
Start Avio Manager and the user interface will be displayed as a node. To display the control elements click the arrow next to the interface name. Open the pages likewise until the control elements appear. Now you can link up the control elements with other channels via drag & drop and immediately test them on the user interface. After testing terminate the Wings Touch test operation by right-clicking the user interface and selecting Close Project Preview. Every touch interface, however, should have a button for closing the program.
