This function requires at least a Pro License (supports only one active Live Player) or a Wings Vioso license. See also Licenses and functions.
The live players allow intuitive playback of videos or live video inputs during a show. Moreover, it is also possible to display pictures using the Live Player. In such a case you can enter the values for fade in/out and the display time. There are various playback options for embedding videos available.
This is how you use the Live Player:
In the function bar below the main menu click 
Live players, following which a live player is opened for every video track.
By way of preparation you could drag a video or a live video input and drop it into the Live player field. But you could also do so during playback. The video does not necessarily need to be located in the Media Pool; you can also drag it from the Windows Explorer and drop it into the live player.
Important note: Video sound needs to be extracted before your can play it back. In the Media Pool right-click the video and select Extract audio file again.
Note for Master/Client mode: For playback on client PCs the videos must be available in the corresponding client sync folders. It might be useful to add the videos to the Media Pool so that Wings Vioso RX is familiar with the file properties. A new vide file that has not yet been stored on the client PCs can only be played on the master PC since there is no file transfer to the clients during the presentation.
During playback the video can be controlled via the Live player buttons 
Play, 
Pause and 
Stop. Once started, the live video is displayed in the screen above the other videos that may also be accommodated on the track.
In order to configure the numerous options for playback, highlight the track head and click on tab 
Player in the Properties Table. The following options are available:
Properties
Default Mode ... here you select the default playback mode:
Single ...playback is terminated after playing the file.
Next ...after playing the file the next file in the list is played.
Loop ...the file is played in a loop until it is stopped or another file is started.
Autoplay ...causes automatic playback immediately after the video was dragged and dropped into the Live player field.
Display last frame during pause ...ensures that the last video image remains visible after clicking on Pause .
Use track slider ...uses the track slider for the transparency.
Enable realtime control ...uses the enabled realtime control sliders.
Times
Fade in time for play ...defines the fade in time after clicking Play.
Fade out time for pause ...defines the fade out time after clicking Pause.
Fade out time for stop ...defines the fade out time after clicking Stop.
Fade in time ...defines the fade in time after clicking Play.
Display time ...defines the period the pictures are to be displayed.
Fade out time ...defines the fade out time after clicking Pause.
Autoplay Delay ...defines the time a picture is to be displayed after dragging it into the Live Player. E.g. at 0.0 a picture is displayed immediately, at 2.0 only after two seconds. Note: This function requires Autoplay in the Properties to be enabled.
Avio
Live Player 
Avio ...check this box to make Live Player available in Avio Manager at port Live Player - Timeline XX with channels for various functions. These can also be linked up with other Avio channels. See also Connecting and editing channels.
Port name in Avio ...here you can enter a name to precede the channels in Avio Manager.
Please note that live players only work during playback or presentations.
You can sort the files for playback by means of a playlist and specify a playback mode there. See Using playlists.
When you stop Live Player playback while holding the Ctrl key the video is removed from the Live Player.
