Individual objects may be disabled for test purposes or for analyzing processes.
Right-click the corresponding object and select Status - Disable. If you want to disable several objects you need to mark them.... See Marking objects. Disabled objects can be recognised by the red symbol in the info line.
The same way objects can be enabled again.
