Switch Object Properties

Switch object properties can be edited in the more extensive dialog or the times even in the table:

Right-click a switch object and select Properties.

Input value for live and record mode specifies a control element of an external input device that has possibly been allocated. Click on Remove to remove the allocation.
Under Output devices you will find the devices to which the values of the data object are output. Highlight a device and click Remove to remove the link.
Use both arrow keys to change the position or order of a highlighted device within the list of devices. The order also has an influence on the time the information is transmitted (...within a range of milliseconds). However, this may be important for devices that are functionally linked.
Cyclic output enables cyclic output to the above mentioned devices.
Inverse ...outputs the latest value to all devices and cyclically sets one to zero. Usually, all devices are set to zero and the latest value is cyclically output to one of them.
Reverse...reverses the order, i.e. start is at the last device.
For Cycles enter the required number of output cycles for this object. The frequency depends on the length of the object and the number of cycles.
In field Comment you can enter any designation to become visible in the object info line.

Highlight the corresponding switch object and the tabs with the parameters will be displayed in the Properties Table.

The parameters displayed are for your information and can also be edited.

Times

Start time ...refers to the beginning of an objects calculated from the beginning of the timeline.
Duration ...defines the length of an object.
End time ...refers to the end of an objects calculated from the beginning of the timeline.

Properties

Comment ...here you can enter any designation to become visible in the object info line.
