Transferring Global Options to Client PCs

Some Global Options important for multidisplay presentations can be transferred from the master to the client PCs. The following Global Options are transferred:

User interface: Language
Output: Synchronization Mode
Output: Playback priority
Color management: all relevant settings; the customized color profile that may be used must be installed locally on the client and selected in the options.
Save: Automatically correct invalid file dates.
and a few internal settings for the latest versions

These options can be transferred to all clients or to individual clients.

Transfer to all client PCs

In the main menu click Extras and select Global Options Client PCs

Transfer to one particular client PC

In the Media Pool click on category Devices following which the clients are listed on the right.
Right-click the corresponding client and select Transfer global options.

For function Transfer global options there must be an active network connection to the client PC; on master and client the buttons Enable network must be enabled. Otherwise, menu item Transfer global options is not available or a transmission error message appears.
