External you can add and manage any data to do with the project, e.g. the storyboard, any texts, PowerPoint presentations, multi-tier picture collages, records of release meetings, etc. From the Media Pool, these files can be opened in the corresponding editor without you having to search for them. When producing a backup copy in Wings Vioso RX this external data can optionally be saved, too.
In the Project Explorer, select or create a folder for category External (.... if necessary, create a new folder by right-clicking External).
Right-click the Media Pool and select Add external files.
In the file dialog, select one or several files and click Open.
External files cannot be added via drag & drop.
In the Media Pool, right-click the corresponding external file and select Open. Following this, the program allocated in Windows is started and the corresponding file opened.
