HTML user interfaces can be executed in an IObox which can then be made available independently of a computer. Usually the interface is transferred using the Wings Touch Device Manager, which is the recommended way. However, it is also possible without it, e.g. if a firmware later than version 2 (of May 2016) has been installed for the IObox.
This requires the following steps:
Export the user interface by clicking in the top left corner of Wings touch and selecting Export Project for IObox in the menu. Enter the required storage location and click Start. The HTML user interface is saved to a subfolder with the project name.
On the SD card create a folder named touch and copy and paste the folder with the exported HTML user interface into this order.
Note: Folder name touch must be in small letters.
After plugging the SD card into the IObox and clicking Refresh in Avio Manager the user interface along with its pages and channels is listed among the IObox nodes. You can now make the connections as usual. See also Connecting and editing channels.
Note: The IObox firmware must be of 20.02.2015 or later. If necessary make a firmware update.
To open the user interface right-click the IObox node in Avio Manager and select Open in Web Browser. In the browser click Touch and select the required user interface in the field. Above the field you can find the URL or link for opening the user interface.
You can also have the project displayed in the IObox immediately after entering the IP address by enabling Show project in root directory in the browser list field. In such a case you need to use http://[ip]/touch.htm to get to the configuration interface.
To start with, loading of the user interface takes quite some time as the graphic needs to be saved to the Browser cache first. Wait until the interface has been saved. Once all graphic elements are saved to the browser cache the pages should load quite quickly. We recommend using Google Chrome for loading the user interfaces.
