The log file contains all working steps performed in Wings Vioso RX, as well as the error messages and can be used for error analysis in case of problems.
In the bottom right-hand corner of the program window click tab Log. In addition to the date and the time, it also contains the type of action and the purpose. Please note that the latest entries can be found at the end of the list. The last entry is shown automatically unless function Scroll automatically has been disabled.
Current log entries referring to errors, warnings and information are displayed in the info line at the bottom right corner of the program window. This information remains visible even if tab Log is not in the foreground.
You can access log information that is no longer visible in the log window by opening older log files. Click on Extras - Display log file... and double-click the required log file listed in the file dialog. Following this the log file is displayed in the log viewer.
Right-click some free space on tab Log and select Copy support information. Following this, all the log information but also any other information such as the properties of imported videos are copied to the clipboard. This information can be copied and pasted to a text document or directly to an e-mail, e.g. via the key combination Ctrl and V.
Right-click some free space on tab Log and select Export as CSV file. In the dialog box, enter name and target directory for the CSV file and click on Save. Following this, all the log information but also any other information such as the properties of imported videos are exported to A CSV file (comma-separated values) which may be opened in MS Excel, for example.

Delete previous entries ...following which all entries older than the one you clicked on will be deleted.
Delete all entries ...deletes all log entries.
Only the visible entries will be deleted. When deleting the entries Wings Vioso RX stores all log entries in separate files in folder Log. See also Extras - Open folder.
