Using folders

For nearly all categories in the Media Pool, e.g. Trigger, Timelines, Pictures, Videos etc. folders can be opened to further structure the contents. For Screens and Devices this is not possible. However, it is possible to open new device folders for individual devices in order to structure the control channels.

To open a new folder right-click a category or an existing folder and select New folder. Name it appropriately.
Folder structures on your hard disk can be transferred to the Media Pool by highlighting the folders in Windows Explorer and dragging and dropping them onto the corresponding category Audio, Pictures or Video or a subfolder of that category. The folders are created in the Media Pool and the media imported to the corresponding category. Media that do not belong to the corresponding category are not considered and must be imported separately to the correct category.
The contents of a folder can be displayed by clicking the corresponding folder in the Media Pool and highlighted contents be moved from the Media Pool to other folders.
Within a category, folders can now be moved into other folders. The important thing is to highlight the folder before you grab it again and move it into the desired folder.
If you want to delete a folder, right-click it and select Remove.
