Text objects on text tracks allow text for a show to be displayed. Text objects feature a ramp band for controlling the transparency and can be faded in or out just like images. The same applies to keyframe control. In addition to this, the text can be aligned horizontally or vertically, e.g. for displaying the credits or a news ticker.
